Combining the styles of the Arctic Monkeys, Royal Blood, Muse, Rage Against The Machine and Biffy Clyro SHADOWQUEEN are a dynamic melodic hard rock group that are not to be disregarded. Particularly as they are such a diverse band it is very difficult to pigeon hole them into one specific genre. The versatile band have supported the much loved New Zealand band Shihad and Australian bands such as Electric Mary, The Butterfly Effect and Bellusira.

Also worthy of note is the producers and engineers that are involved with their upcoming 2017 Sophomore album. Ricki Rae who has recorded Electric Mary, Massive and Tequila Mockingbyrd and Garth Richardson who produced for Biffy Clyro and Rage Against The Machine. Their first album was also mastered by Ted Jensen in New York (Paramore and Iron Maiden).

Robbi Zana (vocals/bass) on the single: “This track’s narrative shines the light on the struggles of contending with internal self-deprecating dialogue and the realisation that you’re ultimately waiting on yourself to get out and achieve your goals and dreams.”
