Hurtling at full force into 2019, Saltwater Sun release their new single Blood – taken from their forthcoming EP ‘The Great Deceiver’ out this April – a track with explosive guitars, shoe-gaze style and lyrics that ooze sass.
The quintet’s typically addictive latest effort follows their 2018 return with heavyweight singles The Wire and Hot Mess, and explores a much more personal element of their songwriting.

Championed by the likes of NME, DIY, The Line Of Best Fit and Dork (2019 ‘Hype List’) and buzzing across the BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music airwaves, the childhood friends spent the majority of 2018 cultivating a staunch live following, with capacity shows at The Great Escape and Are You Listening? leading to a slot on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds Festival.
Kicking off 2019 with impressive support slots alongside US alt-rockers Jimmy Eat World and fellow Reading risers The Amazons, the fivesome will be celebrating their EP release with a slew of festival appearances including Live At Leeds and Liverpool Sound City, with more announcements to be looked out for in the coming months!
