The British rock-influenced, Israeli artist known as Izakman is set to release his debut album, titled Cyber Love, on January 27th. This upcoming album is expected to consist of 12 songs containing a lot of inspiration from psychedelic authors, including Lewis Carroll and Brothers Grimm.
Itamar Isaak, the frontman, leader, and songwriter of Izakman, plans to explore themes of loneliness and absence in the modern digital era. Izakman recently released a single with the same name as his upcoming work on June 26th, which fully embodies this theme of feeling alone and not having intimate connections as a result of digital communications.
Alongside the “Cyber Love” single, Izakman also released a music video that has received critical praise among festivals such as the International Music Video Awards London, the Euro Video Song Awards Paris, and the Rome Music Video Awards. What makes this music video especially amazing for Izakman, is that Isaak also directed and edited it, which is only a testament to Isaak’s abundance of creativity. The music video features British Sign Language, Braille, and Morse Code and was even a finalist in the Rome Music Video Awards. You can check out the video below or on Izakman’s YouTube page.
“Cyber Love” will not be the only track that has a music video released alongside it. When Izakman’s album officially drops, there will be an animated music video for “Down The Rabbit Hole,” which we will all have to be patiently waiting to view.
Another track that will be featured on Cyber Love is Izakman’s “Real Boy,” which was already released as a single on October 9th. “Real Boy” is a much different track than “Cyber Love,” which means that there is so much more to be heard from Izakman.
