The Iranian-born jazz pianist known as Ido Spak The Jazz Traveler is releasing an album titled Epidemic Adventures at some point in the near future. In order to complete the album, Ido Spak is crowd funding his latest project by offering his previously released albums, music lessons, and live performances to those that donate.
Ido Spak got his name as The Jazz Traveler from his mission as a musician: he plans on traveling the world to bring and experience music and joy to those willing to hear it. Ido Spak plans on creating a sound that fuses together his influences from Iran, Syria, Palestine, and everywhere in between.
“I bring elements from the Middle East and combine them with NYC Jazz and classical music. I explore non-conventional rhythms and do it through collaboration with musicians from different cultures such as Iran, Syria, Kurdistan… Canada, Germany and the goal is to break national and political boundaries.” – Ido Spak The Jazz Traveler
The plan for Epidemic Adventures began when Ido Spak The Jazz Traveler found love over the Internet during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. This love story inspired Ido Spak’s “Epidemic Love Song” and kicked off the rest of the highly anticipated album. Epidemic Adventures is sure to bewitch all that listen to Ido Spak’s piano twirls and pristine vintage aesthetic when it is available in the near future.
Be sure to check out Epidemic Adventures and don’t forget to follow Ido Spak The Jazz Traveler on Facebook and Instagram!
