The current music scene in Mexico is getting an exciting addition: The Guapos. This supergroup is made up of four renowned artists: Adán Jodorowsky, El David Aguilar, Jay de La Cueva and Leiva.
The four have developed individual careers, but now they’ve come together to bring music fans something truly special. The Guapos’ newest single “Nunca Te Quise” is the perfect example of their unique sound. It has a mix of cynicism and sweetness, with both the lyrics and music adding to the tension.
The accompanying music video completes the story and brings a fitting conclusion. The video was directed by Charlotte Kemp Muhl and shot over two days in Mexico City and Querétaro. If you’re looking to check out The Guapos in person, they are about to embark on a tour through Spain in June and July – just in time for the summer festivals! Don’t miss your opportunity to see these four great musicians performing together as a supergroup.

Their debut album was recorded in a completely analogue way (in two tracks, on tape, and with mono sound), so you can expect a classic, vintage sound that is updated for modern times. If you’re looking for something cool and unique, The Guapos is a must-listen. With their amazing sound and performances, they’re sure to be one of the highlights of the summer.
