Joe O’Donnell’s Shkayla, are an extraordinary rock group who blend Celtic, jazz and Indian musical influences to form a completely unique sound.
On Wednesday 14th December Joe O’Donnell’s Shkayla will be playing Leam Jazz, held at Leamington Rugby Club, Leamington spa, where they will showcase songs from across their three outstanding albums.
Joe’s life-long immersion in Celtic music and his rock-inspired creativity deliver an out-pouring of traditional and new music filled with ancient resonance and innovative energy. Powered by four outstanding instrumentalists Shkayla is Joe’s latest vehicle. It allows him to draw from his rich lifetime of musical experience and advances his urge to create new music that inspires and rewards the listener equally.
In time for Christmas 2016, Joe O’Donnell’s Shkayla are releasing their unique single ‘Noel Nouvelet’.
