One particular track from the album is entitled Berceuse pour le Petit Jean Pierre which is Lullaby for the small Jean Pierre translated into English. When talking about the meaning of the song, Roy explains: It is a lullaby that I wrote for a bird that I took care of. At some point it felt as if he had a special bond. The bird liked music very much and when I played that song it went to sleep. After a few weeks I decided to bring Jean Pierre back to the nature where he belongs and would be happier. This song and the story behind it gave much significance when my father passed away 6 months ago. Letting go of a person/being while knowing that he is in another, better place without looking at my loss. Generating compassion for the other being without attachment.
