Neo-soul artist Challan Carmichael has been performing in schools across the UK as part of his recent ‘Step by Step’ tour.
So far he has performed at schools in Hull, Machester, Liverpool, London and Coventry. He is set to play at many more locations.
The tour is likely to inspire many young people to take up musical careers themselves and follow their passions. A professional dancer as well as a singer, Challan himself was inspired by watching his idols, independently learning to dance through watching Michael Jackson videos and streetdance.
The tour is also in support of his new catchy single ‘Step by Step’, which itself features a chorus sung by children from his local church. Challan’s support of the youth is a reflection of his motivational and philanthropic outlook on life.
