The illusive and mysterious metal band known as Supreme Unbeing released their latest single “Face of Evil” on October 22nd. Led by Zac Red, the band is also made up of D. Vine on lead guitar, D. Sciple on rhythm guitar, Al Mytee on drums, and Unknown on bass guitar. “Face of Evil” is the first single released by the band in anticipation of their sophomore album, Enduring Physicality.
Starting with a solo guitar, “Face of Evil” immediately gets listeners feeling nervous about “the madness that surrounds.” The song begins intentionally disjointed and sounding half the speed of its potential that is realized during the intense choruses of the song. With the beating drums, rocking guitars, and thumping bass in the background, the powerful vocals of “Face of Evil” are able to soar to the front. The song deals with the evil nature that people naturally possess and being able to balance one’s good side with their bad side.
“This song is about self-proclaimed kings, tyrants, societal leaders… and your friends. Whether you have your own life agenda or not, they’ll manipulate and rob you of your free will to get what they want with their – as the song goes – ever-changing ‘Face Of Evil.'” – Zac Red of Supreme Unbeing
The band also released a music video starring Dragomir Mrsic, alongside the release of the single. Check it out below!
