The post-punk rock duo known as Movment are set to release their second album, Transformation, on the second of December. Movment’s music is more than just post-punk rock that has been done and done again; they bring some special features to their music. They bring about their abrasive rock music alongside lo-fi sounds that help to define their sound amongst a sea of other post-punk rockers. Hailing from Ireland, this band also likes to keep their identities hidden via the wearing of their signature white masks, which only adds to their alluring, captivating nature. This only adds to their own uniqueness in their aesthetic and their sound.

Movment is known for its socially conscious lyricism and Transformation does not seem to deviate from this trend in their music. The lead single off the upcoming album, “We All Must Go,” especially continues this trend. Odds are, you already have a basic idea of what “We All Must Go” is going to be about but just to drive the point home, this song is about coming to terms with dying. It happens to everyone so there is no need to be too fearful of what comes next because nobody knows! I believe the band put it best:

“But it [“We All Must Go”] is not particularly negative, it is about embracing the light. It’s an inquest into the journey to the big black river that awaits us, where it’s going, nobody knows…” – Movment

“We All Must Go” follows the duo’s other acclaimed singles, “Leave Me Alone” and “Propaganda,” each of which have been covered by music journalists in countries all over the world, including Brazil and South Africa.

Don’t forget to follow Movment on social media and be sure to check out Transformation when it gets released on December 2nd!
