The three-piece Canadian band known as Thunderor recently released their debut single, “How We Roll,” on the 24th of November. “How We Roll” is the lead single off of the trio’s upcoming debut album, called Fire It Up, which will be released on February 25th. The album will feature 9 songs each of which will have its own unique sound calling back to the 1980s rock scene.
“The songs on the album are meant to inspire a life journey – an adventure with friends, motorcycles, romance, danger, and victory. I hope it will be a soundtrack for your adventures.” – Thunderor
The group is made up of lead singer, keyboardist and drummer JJ Tartaglia, guitarist Jonny Nesta, and bassist Oscar Rangel. Both Tartaglia and Nesta have played together before with the group Skull Fist, who are known for their international metal and rock success.
The group’s lead single features all of the best qualities of the 1980s rock scene with its head-banging beat, catchy lyrics, and ripping guitar riffs. “How We Roll” features Tartaglia singing with great intensity that is followed by the more mellow bridge of the song that only adds to the fervor of the song when Tartaglia’s vocals re-enter for the final chorus.
Thunderor released a music video along with their lead single, which you can view below! The music video perfectly compliments the image the band is looking for and the kind of intensity that Thunderor wants to give its audience.
Thunderor is now primed and ready for their headlining United Kingdom tour followed by their EU tour, which is set to take place right after the release of Fire It Up. If you happen to be in Germany, Denmark, or the Czech Republic, be sure to go visit Thunderor!
