August 4th saw the release of the latest album by Fascination Curve, the progressive rock supergroup spearheaded by Karl Lundeberg, called Corona Time in Amerika. This album includes seven tracks and features a slew of professional musicians, including Gregg Bissonette and Marc Bonilla from Toto, Ken Stacey from playing with Michael Jackson, Amy Keys from playing with Phil Collins, Mha Bhatti from Electric Light Orchestra, and Tim Ries from the Rolling Stones.

Corona Time in Amerika brings about the best qualities of progressive rock music but in a way that is unique to Fascination Curve. Epic and roaring guitar solos are juxtaposed with tender jazz stylings in a way that crafts a dynamic soundscape that very few artists can pull off. This kind of strange interpolation was crafted in order to best reflect the socially conscious nature of the album and the political turmoil we are currently living through.

The album takes on the subjects of Ukraine, Roe vs Wade, racism, and the continuing drift towards Civil War.” – Karl Lundeberg

Since his upbringing in Washington D.C., Karl Lundeberg has remained motivated to be politically and socially charged and have his artists works reflect this side of himself. Being raised with the backdrop of the 1968 Civil Rights Riots paved the way for Lundeberg to be politically and socially active in his adult creative endeavors and Corona Time in Amerika is the latest in Lundeberg’s brilliant displays of activism.
