In a significant cross-Atlantic artistic collaboration, New York-based multimedia artist Deja Dead, known as Max Miller, has announced the premiere of his ambitious new project, “AN EVENING IN THE DEAD ZONE,” to be held at Glasgow Film Theatre on 23 March 2026. This event marks the highly anticipated first public presentation of Miller’s audiovisual album DISCONNECTED.
DISCONNECTED represents the final creative endeavor of the esteemed Glaswegian producer Rico, whose influential work spanned collaborations with figures such as Gary Numan, Tricky, and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. The album’s creation, chronicled through exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, is a testament to the enduring partnership formed between Miller and Rico, a bond forged over a fifteen-year journey from New York to Glasgow.
Attendees can expect a comprehensive exploration of the album’s genesis. The event will include personal stories recounting Miller’s artistic pilgrimage and collaboration with Rico, culminating in the debut of a neon-tinted short film directed by Ben Sottak.
