As part of the three-night residency at The Troubadour for Canadian seven-piece The Broken Island, the show on Wednesday the 20th of November kicked off with an explosive start from pop singer Joel Rothwell.
Having travelled from Manchester down to London especially for the gig, Joel and his band were thrilled to perform at such an iconic venue, which has had the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Elton John and Bob Dylan perform there.
Joel’s 9 song set began with an energetic and powerful start with the track ‘Beautiful Monster’. His performance was lively and slick, a mixture of incredible live vocals with an incredibly strong ability to engage the crowd. Other highlights of the gig included a cover of Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ and the performance for his enthralling new track ‘Know Them’. Setlist below!
