Adam Lanceley, one of the most inspirational artists of our generation, is releasing his 11th studio album, Sweeter Than Honey, on May 14th. Having suffering mental illness following an accident at an early age, Adam Lanceley was able to find an outlet in music and genuine storytelling and does so in a way that can reach the hearts of listeners worldwide.

“Sweeter Than Honey marks the end of a long time spent struggling and soul searching… with it, it feels like I’ve found an answer.” – Adam Lanceley

The lead single off of Sweeter Than Honey is a track titled “I’m So Glad” and features elements that can remind listeners of their favorite Beach Boys songs. The emotive vocals definitely take center stage for this single and pair incredibly well with the rhythmic guitar and piano accompaniment. Never straying too far from the importance of the lyrics, this song really displays Adam Lanceley’s talent as a genuine songwriter and lyricist. “I’m So Glad” serves as a reflection on Adam Lanceley’s own life and how thankful he is for the people in his life that have helped and cared for him throughout his life.

“Honey, Sounds Sweeter” is the track that opens Sweeter Than Honey and shows the range that Adam Lanceley is capable of. While “I’m So Glad” highlights a slower type of songwriting, “Honey, Sounds Sweeter” is significantly more upbeat and the music throughout the song encourages listeners to dance along to the track. Incorporating a bouncy drum beat with a horn section and thumping bass line has made “Honey, Sounds Sweeter” one of the most cheerful tracks on the album. Containing a similar optimistic message to that of the lead single, “Honey, Sounds Sweeter” lyrically follows the message of the album as a whole, which is clearly a message of hope and good cheer for all.

Be sure to check out Adam Lanceley’s Sweeter Than Honey when it is released on Spotify on May 14th and don’t forget to follow Lanceley on Twitter to stay updated on his upcoming projects!
