On September 9th, the indie pop duo from London known as Sparky’s Magic Piano is scheduled to release their latest album entitled Never Twice The Same Colour. Never Twice The Same Colour is the long-awaited release from the duo since their previous 2007 electro-pop release called Feel The Beat And Do It Anyway!
For Never Twice The Same Colour, Sparky’s Magic Piano epitomized the bedroom studio spirit, considering the entire album was recorded in their home between 2019 and 2022. The creative duo was able to turn everyday parts of their home into studio magic.
“We set out making Never Twice the Same Colour with a goal to make an ambitious rock record, wherever possible not confined by the limits of a home studio. For Someone from There I laid down around 30 different violin tracks in the drainpipe and curtains vocal booth to create the orchestra.” – Sparky’s Magic Piano
To help build up the hype for the release of Never Twice The Same Colour, Sparky’s Magic Piano released the album’s lead single, titled “Last Supper,” on August 19th. The song personifies the Brit-indie-pop-rock genre and does so in such a way that brings the playful indie spirit to the foreground. “Last Supper” exemplifies what listeners can expect from Sparky’s Magic Piano’s upcoming release with a slew of ten more three-minute upbeat pop hits.
