Where most bands mark a release date, Shyfrin Alliance interrogate the calendar itself. On May 9, 2025, the Kabbalah-influenced collective drops In the Shadow of Time, a lead single that doesn’t personify time so much as expose a hidden presence moving within its shadow—an unseen force quietly steering our days.

Eduard Shyfrin’s commanding bass-baritone asks, “I want to know who is there – in the shadow of time,” while thunderous drums and a muscular blues-rock chassis plunge the listener into a Black Hole of emotion before swinging back like a Pendulum. Inspired by abstract expressionism and philosophical inquiry, the track doubles as the title song of the band’s forthcoming second album, following the debut Upside Down Blues and the acclaimed Buddha Blues. Recorded in Paris with top-tier French rock musicians, it channels Shyfrin’s background—Ukrainian-born, classically trained pianist, businessman, bestselling author—into a focused, elemental sound.

“The nature of time is the greatest mystery,” Shyfrin says. “We feel its force… the Wall of Time itself.” Released on all major platforms, the single is a summons to listen for what moves in the dark. Music of the Mystic, Mystics of the Music.
