A new voice is emerging in UK country and Americana as Devan prepares to release “Wyatt Earp” on Friday 3rd April 2026. The debut single introduces an artist whose story is closely tied to his Cambridgeshire roots and whose music is shaped by authenticity, family and a lifelong love of singing.
Raised in March, Devan’s identity as a “Fen boy” is central to his creative outlook. His connection to the Fenland area and his family’s local ties have helped inform the values behind his songwriting. For Devan, country music is not simply a genre choice but a natural fit for stories about home, hard work, loss and belonging.
“Wyatt Earp” is a milestone release because it is Devan’s first experience of both songwriting and recording. The track marks the moment he steps forward as an artist in his own right, transforming his passion for music into something tangible. It also sets the tone for future material, including the upcoming song “Better Man,” inspired by the loss of his grandfather, who he describes as his best friend.
Early support has already arrived through CountryLine Homegrown with Tim Prottey-Jones, giving Devan an important first moment on radio. As he looks ahead to a debut EP, Devan is establishing himself as an artist with a clear sense of who he is and where he comes from. As the saying goes, “You can take the boy out of the country, but not the country out of the boy.”
