At a time when streaming algorithms shape almost every playlist, Outliers Festival is taking a different route. The new East London event launches on June 26, 2026 at 93 Feet East, with a concept built entirely around live music discovery and emerging artists.

The festival arrives with the tagline “Live Music, Off The Algorithm,” which feels increasingly relevant in today’s music landscape. Rather than focusing on viral trends or headline names, Outliers Festival aims to create an atmosphere where audiences discover artists naturally through performance, curiosity, and shared experience.

Set in the middle of Brick Lane, the festival will feature emerging acts from indie, alternative, electronic, pop, and experimental music scenes. However, the organisers appear far more interested in creating a sense of exploration than building a traditional hierarchy-driven lineup.

That approach also connects closely to the choice of venue. 93 Feet East has remained one of East London’s best-known grassroots live spaces for years. Its indoor stage areas and outdoor courtyard give the event room to feel immersive rather than overly structured.

Visually, Outliers Festival seems equally focused on identity and atmosphere. According to the festival materials, the event draws inspiration from early 2000s music culture, underground flyposting, layered typography, and modern graphic systems. Environmental installations and visual interventions will also appear throughout the venue.

In many ways, the festival reflects a wider shift happening across live music culture. Audiences increasingly want experiences that feel personal, unpredictable, and community-driven. Outliers Festival appears designed with exactly that in mind.
