The east coast rock group known as Annie Minogue Band, or AMB for short, is set to release a single called “Real Close Up” on June 20th and their upcoming single will be featured on AMB’s upcoming album, Suburbia. AMB consists of five members with Annie Minogue on vocals, Nick Saya on drums, Nunzio Signore on guitar and vocals, Brian Karp on bass, and Dave Archer on keyboard and when all five members play together, a perfect blend of pop, rock, and blues is created.

Opening with a guitar riff that pays homage to the days of classic rock, “Real Close Up” is able to put these older traditions into contemporary pop sensibilities and production practices. When Annie Minogue’s voice enters the scene with the rest of AMB, it is hard for the listener not to hear the influence Ann Wilson has had on Minogue. Minogue’s voice is the perfect blend of punchy powerhouse vocal techniques and blues vocal techniques, which creates a sound unlike no other while still being reminiscent of so much.

“Real Close Up” truly serves as the group’s love letter to classic rock ‘n’ roll and this love letter would not be complete without the inclusion of a guitar solo to tie it all together. Even though the solo itself is not very long, it complements the rest of the song expertly since the guitar riffs throughout the entire song.

The release of “Real Close Up” is coming after the release of AMB’s previous single called “Sandbox,” which reached number one on the World Indie Charts. Aside from that success, AMB also has been featured on several television and radio stations, including MSNBC, MTV, and CBS, which only goes to show that AMB is one group to keep your eye out for.

Be sure to check out “Real Close Up” and Suburbia when they are released on your favorite streaming platform and don’t forget to follow Annie Minogue Band on social media!
